Wharfedale Pro SIGMA-X12 Passive Installation Speaker 12-Inches

The SIGMA-X12 is a 12″ full-range loudspeaker from our SIGMA-X Series, engineered for higher output applications that demand greater low-frequency presence, wider coverage, and installation flexibility.

Equipped with a rotatable 90° x 60° waveguide, SIGMA-X12 adapts seamlessly to vertical or horizontal mounting, ensuring precise coverage control in performance venues, clubs, houses of worship, and corporate environments. Its redesigned acoustic profile delivers improved vocal clarity, punch, and projection, making it an ideal choice for larger spaces.

With both 4 pole speaker connectors and barrier strip inputs, SIGMA-X12 supports straightforward installation, while additional reinforced mounting points provide compatibility with Powerdrive Type 90 plates and optional WPB-1 or WPB-2 wall brackets for secure and professional deployment. Durable black or white Tough-Tone paint finishes ensure easy architectural integration.

Handling 300 W continuous (1200 W peak) power and delivering up to 129 dB max SPL @ 1 m, SIGMA-X12 offers powerful, reliable performance backed by full support via FIR presets, EASE .gll files, and system diagrams.

SIGMA-XV models feature the highly refined mini EVO-Fold waveguide along with HF compression drivers.  For the SIGMA-XV5 there is one, while the SIGMA-XV9 features two compression drivers, each with a mini EVO-Fold waveguide.

This mini EVO-Fold design provides consistent dispersion coverage on both the horizontal and vertical planes with the sound radiating from one, singular and coherent, source. 

Installations can be complicated enough, so we have made SIGMA-X series as easy as possible.

For the SIGMA-XV Column array, either use the included U bracket, or for even more adjustment, use the optional WPB-SV which gives up to 15° tilt and 180° of rotation. 

SIGMA-X full range cabinet models all have 17 x M8 rigging points, PLUS 35 mm pole sockets. Fly or wall bracket! SIGMA-X8, X10, X12 and X15 can use the optional WPB-1 or WPB-2 wall brackets.

All SIGMA-X models (with the exception of the 70 V / 100 V T models) are equipped with both speakON compatible and barrier strip inputs.  It is another small step that makes the installation easy.
