At its core, a Beyma coaxial driver with a 2.5″ LF voice coil delivers phase-aligned, coherent audio with smooth 70° conical coverage — ideal for theatres, bars, nightclubs, and performance spaces where uniform dispersion and speech intelligibility are essential. The custom-designed waveguide ensures high frequencies are directed accurately toward the audience, minimising reflections and maintaining consistent tonality across the listening area.

Constructed from birch plywood and finished in black or white, GPL-8T combines architectural discretion with rugged durability. It can be quickly wall-mounted using optional brackets or the included steel yoke, ensuring flexible installation. For 70 V / 100 V distributed audio systems, GPL-8T provides tap options at 200 / 100 / 50 / 25 W (70 V) and 200 / 100 / 50 W (100 V).

Handling 350 W continuous (1400 W peak) power and achieving 128 dB max SPL @ 1 m, GPL-8T delivers powerful, articulate sound with exceptional definition. FIR preset libraries and EASE .gll files are available for accurate system optimisation and seamless integration.

All GPL models use premium Baltic birch plywood construction.

Not only does this create a solid and durable cabinet, but it also contributes to the overall sound and character.

GPL is also covered in our most durable and hard wearing Rhino Rock paint finish. This ensures that a GPL loudspeaker will always look as good as the day you installed it.

Installations can be complicated enough, so Wharfedale Pro have made GPL series as easy as possible.

GPL-5 and GPL-8 are quickly fixed to a wall using the WPB-3 wall bracket or the included steel yoke.  GPL-12, GPL-12HQ, GPL-15 and GPL-15HQ are quickly fixed to a wall using the WPB-1 wall bracket or the included steel yoke.

These models are also compatible with Powerdrive Series 100 or Omnimount Series 60 installation brackets.
