Its smooth supercardioid polar pattern rejects feedback with low, off-axis coloration. The e 865 withstands sound pressure levels of up to 150 dB and deftly suppresses pop noise. While it picks up the finest sonic nuances, the e 865 is at the same time rugged, benefiting from high-quality workmanship and a robust all-metal housing.

This WHF-158 Foam Windscreen is designed for use with many common handheld microphones with a 1-5/8" diameter head. The density of the specialty acoustic foam is optimized to help protect the microphone element from air bursts without muffling the sound.

When used on a handheld microphone, this windscreen is effective in minimizing wind noise and plosive sounds. It is most effective in calm to light breeze conditions (0 to 7 mph) and can be used indoors for protection against drafts caused by air-conditioners. Users can generally expect a 4 to 8 dB reduction in wind noise with very slight dampening of high frequencies. For most applications, the very slight high-frequency dampening is a worthwhile exchange for the notable wind noise reduction.

The WMC-100 Wide Mouth Case from Auray is designed to hold and protect your microphone and accessories such as cables, mic clips, shock mount, small audio recorder, memory cards, and more. This wide mouth case features a single compartment with a fabric-hinged lid that closes with a wrap-around zipper on three sides.

With a length of 11.5", the WMC-100 case can accommodate a long-handled interview microphone while remaining roomy enough for a mic flag, too. Smaller items can be secured in an interior storage pouch under the top lid with a touch-fastening tab closure.

For added shock and impact protection, there's also an inner layer of foam padding. The interior is lined with faux fur to prevent scratches. To help guard against impact, dust and moisture, the exterior of the case is made of 600D ballistic nylon.

To reinforce and maintain the case's shape, the exterior top and bottom circumferences feature a thin, black, plastic piping. Also on the outside of the case is a wrist-strap handle for hands free carrying.
