Ensure virtually any active instrument in your repertoire gets a strong, noise-free signal with the Heritage Audio P DI 2, a passive, 2-channel DI box with a custom magnetic transformer and two balanced, transformer-isolated output stages. With the noise-blocking transformer, you can enhance samplers, keys, synths, and more while eliminating RFI and DC-born noise.

The P DI 2 offers excellent signal integrity and superior noise rejection thanks to its premium circuit components and gold-plated I/O connectors. The DI box provides a -15 dB input pad on each channel for overly hot signals and a ground-lift switch for eliminating grounding loops. The enclosure is constructed from durable 14-gauge steel for complete protection of the internal PCB. Along with metal switches, this DI box is built to last, even under intensely rigorous usage. Input and thru jacks are 1/4" and the outputs are over XLR 3-pin.

Versatile and Pristine
Being a transformer-based unit, its outputs are isolated from the instrument and there is a further provision for lifting the ground, as well. An additional -15 dB pad switch on each channel helps with hotter instruments and even allows speaker outputs to be plugged into the P DI 2. Thru parallel connections round out the pack, and all I/O jacks are gold plated and isolated from chassis.

Bring Out the True Tone of Every Instrument
The P DI 2 works best with active circuit instruments like keyboards, synths, drum machines, samplers, and some guitars and basses, when they are required to be plugged into a PA or recording system. By matching the instrument's output level to a typical microphone level, converting it to a balanced signal and minimizing noise, you can be sure you'll achieve the strongest, clearest signal possible. You can also use the two channels of this DI box to convert stereo signals.

Passive Design for Minimal Noise
Thanks to its passive, power-free design, the P DI 2 converts the impedance from high to low and balances the signal using a magnetic transformer that transfers audio while blocking unwanted DC voltage and RFI.
