This product is a limited production revival model of the TH610. After numerous requests a TH610 re-release since its discontinuation in 2023, a limited number of units will be manufactured at Fostex’s domestic facility in Japan. This premium model offers a closed housing made of solid black walnut wood and the much-renowned Biodyna diaphragm.

Therefore, there may be differences in grain, bark, coloration, knots, etc. in each item, but this will not affect the sound quality.

Please be aware of this.

Each unit is carefully assembled in limited quantities at a factory in Japan.

The sealed housing made from solid black walnut wood, whose beautiful grain allows you to enjoy the natural texture of the wood, reproduces a lustrous and natural sound.

The in-house driver unit, developed using proprietary technologies accumulated over many years, combines bio-cellulose fiber with other fibers and other materials on the diaphragm under optimal conditions to achieve low specific gravity, high Young’s modulus, and high internal loss. The low distortion rate and ultra-strong magnetic circuit with a magnetic flux density of 1 Tesla and the good linearity of the free edge provide excellent responsiveness and a vast dynamic range over the entire bandwidth, as well as beautiful reproduction of delicate, highly resolved mid and high frequencies, and faithfully reproduces even low mid frequencies with large amplitude.

Aluminum is used extensively for mechanical parts to achieve a high quality feel and light weight. High specific gravity type resin is used for the baffle plate to reduce resonance noise, resulting in high resolution, rich mid-range, and high-quality bass reproduction.

The detachable connector port is made of a rhodium-plated connector terminal with high hardness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance, and a detachable contact on the headphone body.

High-purity OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) unbalanced cables are included, which are free from impurities to the utmost limit to enhance transmission performance.

The pads are comfortable to wear and provide high sound insulation.
