Building upon the RP legacy that spans over 50 years, the Fostex T60RPmk2CL RP Stereo Headphones feature solid black walnut housings, a closed-back design, and a 4th generation RP (regular-phase) series driver that features an updated coil design that helps the thin, flat diaphragm move more evenly and efficiently. The headphones can be used in wide-frequency reproduction and replicate transients exceedingly well for studio, broadcast, postproduction, or home-audio monitoring applications.

Fostex's T60RPmk2CL headphones have been redesigned to reduce unwanted vibrations and improve how quickly the driver responds to sound changes, delivering better sound sensitivity, a smoother and more natural sound across all frequencies, and a faster, more accurate response. This latest version includes a new dual-Y termination. The headphones include a cable with a 3.5mm connection and a 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter.

Closed-Back Housing Carved from Solid Black Walnut
With its beautiful grain and natural texture, the hard black walnut housing not only adds a touch of elegance but also plays a vital role in the sound quality. Unlike plastic, wood is often preferred in high-end audio for its superior acoustic properties—naturally enhancing resonance and producing a warmer, more organic sound. 4th Generation RP Series Driver
  • The RP technology planar magnetic driver has been developed and manufactured in-house around for over 50 years and has continued to improve with each new version. Now in its 4th generation, it features an updated coil design that helps the thin, flat diaphragm move more evenly and efficiently. The number of magnets around the diaphragm has also been increased, giving it stronger and more controlled movement.

Thanks to these upgrades, the new driver delivers better sound sensitivity, a smoother and more natural sound across all frequencies, and a faster, more accurate response to audio signals.

New Dual-Y Termination
Both left and right housings are equipped with 3.5mm connectors, adopting a newly developed Y-cable connection. The 2-pole 3.5mm connector improves cabling compatibility and versatility and features high-quality OFC conductors.
Earpad Density
The thicker low-resilience around-ear type earpads provide a comfortable fit, making them good for listening for long periods of time. The angled design of the earpads enhance sound staging for a more immersive auditory experience.
