The Audio-Technica AT8492S Surface Mounting System is designed to work with the ATM350a Cardioid Condenser Instrument Microphone. The system includes an AT8491S Surface Mount and AT8490 5" Gooseneck.
The mount allows you mike accordions and other instruments with challenging mounting surfaces. The notched mount can be attached permanently using the accordions grille screw and the included adhesive silicon pad, or it can be attached temporarily using the included fastener tape pads. A transparent protective film is also included to prevent damage to the instruments finish. The strong, flexible gooseneck, which is held securely in the mounts socket by a locking screw, lets you position the mic where you want it and holds it there, no matter how much you move the instrument as you play.
