The Audio-Technica AT8492D Drum Mounting System is designed to work with the ATM350a Cardioid Condenser Instrument Microphone to provide a miking solution that stands up to powerful drumming. The system includes an AT8491D Drum Mount and an AT8490 5" Gooseneck.
The unique, spring-loaded drum mount clamps onto a drum’s tension rod (without hindering your ability to adjust the tension), providing excellent shock resistance for the mic. The strong, flexible gooseneck, which is held securely in the mount’s socket by a locking screw, lets you position the mic where you want it and holds it there, no matter how hard you play.
