The magnesium alloy frame absorbs vibrations, reducing sonic coloration, while the aluminum housings feature a honeycomb-punched design that improves ventilation. The headphones feature a detachable 1/4" TRS gold-plated cable and A2DC connectors to the earcups. With Japanese craftmanship from conception to construction, every element is assured of top-notch build quality. The ATH-ADX7000 headphones come with two pairs of earpads of plush velvet and Alcantara, a detachable 1/4" cable, a detachable balanced 4-pin XLR cable, a hard-shell carrying case, and a cable pouch.
HXDT Technology
The HXDT molding process creates a 58mm diaphragm with precise roundness—the accuracy essential for highly detailed musical expression. Audio-Technica integrated the diaphragm with the other driver components (baffle plate, magnet, and voice coil), aligning their centers with exceptional accuracy.
Fully Open-Back Design
The headphones’ aluminum housings feature a honeycomb-punched design that keeps the housing face open to ventilation. To improve airflow to the diaphragm, the driver unit is optimally positioned within the housing via the proprietary Core Mount Technology.
Natural High-Resolution Sound
Featuring full, natural bass response and smooth, articulate mids and upper mids, the ATH-ADX7000 allows unrestricted airflow to deliver a truly lifelike listening experience, with excellent spatial definition and accurate soundstage.
